GolfLogix GPS by GARMIN (2007 Model)GolfLogix by Garmin is GREAT!!!
First of all the shipping was quick! I used the free super saver shipping, and it estimated 7 days. I got it in 4! Thanks AMAZON! Previously, I have been using IGolf gps system for about year and a half and it worked ok. Had problems with gadget turning off in the middle of my round numerous times. I got tired of turning it on after every hole, so I stuffed the IGolf gps in my bag. I missed having the gps. I researched all the other types of gps gadgets on the market, and it just seemed like a no brainer to go with Garmin’s GolfLogix. I LOVE MY GOLFLOGIX!!! Very simple to use. I need reading glasses to read and the numbers on this are HUGE. No more reading glasses. Easy to download courses onto computer (Unlimited downloads). I love the fact the GolfLogix automatically advances to next hole. GPS knows all distances to sand traps, hazards, water, doglegs, etc…Price on Amazon beats all other sites hands down. Its all automatic. All in all, just a great gps unit!!!!!

Garmin Edge 205 GPS Bicycle ComputerFirst GPS purchase
Hi,
I bought the Garmin Edge 205 (base model), it is my first GPS. I live in Qatar and cycle out on the flat featureless plains, surprisingly it is quite easy to get lost particularly during dust storms. Anyway as a novice user, I looked on Google earth for my intended route , noted the coordinates of various track points - entered them into the EDGE 205 - and it worked, the Edge led me to my destination. Returning to my car was even easier I just followed the arrow, I couldn’t actually see my car but the Edge took me straight to it. The other really great thing is that you can upload your track onto Google earth by using Motion Based software. A very affordable product which does the job I want, in time I will use the training features.

Garmin GPSMap 60CxGreat for Iraq
This is an awsome product. What I like most about the product is that it will gather a signal inside. The signal may not be strong but it works. BUT it definately works while in a vehicle. This is especially useful for the HMMWV. I recomment this product for anyone who will be deployed. I also like the mapping feature. I only wish I could install military grade maps.

Garmin Zumo 450 Portable GPS Motorcycle NavigatorGarmin Zumo
I have no problems with my Zumo 450. It is a little difficult to put addresses in, because it won’t let you enter the entire address. That is a minor problem, and I have been able invariably to overcome it.

Great idea for a motorcycle rider. I wish, however, that they made a BMW compatible handlebar mount. The mount that comes with mounts it on my R1200RT center of the handlebars. I’d perfer it use the same mount as the gazillion dollar BMW GPS setup. Can’t have everything, I guess. I use it in both my car and on my bike. It’s not perfect (no sound in the car) but it works as it is supposed to and helps with navigation.

Garmin Forerunner 301 Wrist Mounted GPS Fitness Computer with Heart Rate MonitorVery frustrated with the heart rate monitor
I bought this unit two or three years ago and until recently used it very little. I had to take a break from running for a while. In any case, I think the GPS is very good. I previously had a Timex GPS (with the separate unit on the upper arm). The Garmin is more compact, loses signal less frequently and acquires the signal quicker. I love the ability to program workouts. I also like Garmin’s software that tracks workout and even maps the routes you’ve run.
